Okay...so I heard this thing once, that airlines update their online flight ticket availability every night at midnight.

So, that means, that although right now (at 10:50pm) a flight to Vegas from the 19th thru the 21st is going to cost me $270 round trip...if I wait just an hour and 10 minutes more, I have the possibility of getting a better time and price for my flight!

I've been wanting to go to bed for hours now, but I really need this to work.

For some reason, you are craving a steak & fries.Two Star Hangover:No pain, but something is definitely amiss. You may look okay, but you have the mental capacity of a staple gun. The coffee you are chugging is only increasing your rumbling gut, which is still tossing around the fruity pancake from the 3:00 AM, Waffle House excursion. There is some definite havoc being wreaked upon your bowels.Three Star Hangover:Slight headache. Stomach feels crappy. You are definitely not productive. Anytime a girl walks by you gag because her perfume reminds you of the flavored schnapps shots your alcoholic friends dared you to drink. Life would be better right now if you were home in your bed watching Lucy reruns. You've had 4 cups of coffee, a gallon of water, 3 iced teas and a diet Coke yet you haven't peed once.Four Star Hangover:Life sucks. Your head is throbbing. Okay...so I went to Vegas on Memorial Day Weekend with two of my old roommies, Pam and Melissa. We had a blast! Saturday night was ultra-special, though...So, we decide to go to Voo Doo Lounge on the last evening that we're there. The night started out awesome! I was having a great time getting drunk, dancing, and hanging out. I start talking with this guy, and find out that he went to Chico State! We chit chat for a bit, and then we start dancing. While we're dancing, he keeps on trying to feel me up! I tell him that I have to go pee, so that I can get away from him, but he follows me to the bathroom anyway.After I come out of the bathroom (already SUPER drunky drunk), me and the Nasty Man go to the balcony to look for P & M. I CANT FIND THEM!!! So we search for half an hour, forty-five minutes...still nothing. Upstairs...downstairs...still no sign of them. I decide to hang out with this guy for a bit, but NO dancing.He sees one of his friends at the bar who has this HUGE alcoholic drink...maybe a marquerita or something. He tells me to try a sip...so I do. Bad idea. SO GROSS! I push through 10 people to get to the garbage can by the bar, and I just start puking. The bartender passes me a cup of water with one hand while making someone elses drink with the other (which I found pretty amazing).Me and Nasty Man go inside because now HE has to pee. I feel that this is my only way out. I run out of the lounge and go to the taxi line downstairs. Some guys in line were trying to tell me that they play for the Giants and that I should hang out with them for the night...but please...I'm not a dumb ass.After my taxi reaches the Aladdin, I start up to my room to go to bed, but remebered something very important - PAM DIDN'T GIVE ME A ROOM KEY. I hobble, shoeless, over to the reception desk and ask nicely for a key. The girl says that since my name isn't on the room, that I can't have one. So I yell "FINE!" at her and take the elevator upstairs. I didn't really know what to do once I was outside the room, so I just slipped off my shoes, laid down, and fell asleep. :)Next thing I know, I'm waking up to these two HUGE security guys saying "Wake up, miss. You can't sleep here." I stood up, drunker than I thought, and said that I wasn't sleeping...I was just "resting my eyes." After I told them my WHOLE story (which I'm sure they loved), they said that they still couldn't let me into the room to get my cell phone so that I could CALL PAMMMMM! One of them took me to a couch in some little resting area. I slept there until Pam and Melissa FINALLY came home around 5 or 6.And just a few hours later, I was on my way to the airport...still a little drunk. :)There are a few details left out...but hey...what happens in Vegas...stays in Vegas...

Okay. So the tickets for the SW3:ROTS premier in Modesto are still on sale. They're $250 each, but include Valet Service, Red Carpet entrance, Pre Party, Movie, and Post Party. FUN! Mark Hamill is going to be there along with some other non-SW related movie stars. I WANNA GO! But I don't have a job...so I'm calling temp agencies like CRAZY right now, trying to get work so that I can go. :)

I camped out from 9pm last night to get into the first George Lucas seminar this morning at 8:45am. It was such a long night! Rain, wind...and snow this morning. HORRIBLE! I almost gave up. George was amazing, though. This place is amazing.

We just saw Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew) at dinner. Darth Vader (David Prowse) is staying a few rooms down from us, as well as Steve Sansweet (the Fan relations guy). I've seen Rick McCallum, Nick Gillard, met Kenny Baker (R2D2), walked next to Warick Davis (Wicket...and he was the night club owner in Ray), sat in an AMAZING seminar given by Jon Noell (got to see Palpatine playing Solitaire and a Clone Trooper doing a sexy dance! LOL), and have seen even more ILM VIP's and people who've worked on both the OT's and PT's. It's just absolutely amazing. :)

I'm so glad that I'm here.

Okay...this place is SOOO amazing! We're staying in the hotel with ALL of the actors and behind the scenes people from both trilogys (also, the guys from Gen Con, ILM, LucasFilm, etc). This place is just insane.

Steve Sansweet walked by us last night going into the sports bar at the Marriott. So nuts.

I can't wait to post all of the pics. They're just too hilarious. The troopers are great, and so are the rest of the costumers.

Oh yeah...and all the new footage...JUST INSANE! I can't wait for May 19th. ;)

I just have to say that I LOVE my new iPod Shuffle. It is seriously one of the best gifts I have ever recieved. I love the thing. It goes anywhere: Tanning, The Gym, Airplanes...it's perfect!

This weekend was the first weekend in three weekends (wow...lotsa "weekends" in there...) that I stayed in town. So wonderful. I had some quality time with my friend Rachel who came down with her husband. I went to a St Patty's Day party at my mom's neighbor's house and got to listen to some men sing beautiful acapella songs. I tanned with my little sister in the back yard. I cleaned...finally. :)

And best of all, I just got to relax a little bit.

Because of the kindness of GM and MasterCard, my credit limit was raised from $3500 to $5000. This enabled me to book myself a flight to Vegas in May, and to book 3 flights to Vegas for Bryan and I, and his friend Dave in April.

The Tall Ships are here! The Lady Washington just rolled in to the dock right outside my window at work! All of us in the office ran over to the windows facing the water and watched her come in! Beautiful! Can't wait to go climb aboard!!!

Ahh...just think...I'll be walking on the same ship that Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom did... :) Yay for me. Pictures will be coming soon!

My very best friend is coming into town with her husband this weekend and I am so excited! They're going to look around Brentwood and Oakley for a place to put a Dutch Brother's Coffee stand. If it works out and they can franchise, they're going to move to Brentwood for good! Then I will have another friend near by, besides Bryan! Then someone else can listen to me complain. :)

Disneyland was a blast! I had the best time, and so did Jessica and Sarah. I finally left work at around 6:30pm on Friday, went home, packed, went to my mom's house, and fell asleep at around 9pm. We all woke up at midnight, and began our drive at 12:30am on Saturday.

We arrived at our hotel at exactly 6:00am and found out that we couldn't check in to our hotel until 3pm! Knowing that we'd need to shower and nap before then, I asked if there were any other rooms that we could check into earlier. And there was - a 2 room suite! He gave it to us for $99!!! This hotel is awesome...the Park Vue Inn...directly across from the entrance to Disneyland.

The forecast had said it was going to rain all weekend, and I had a friend text messaging me and telling me to bring warm clothes...but from the moment we stepped into the park to the moment we waved goodbye, it was nothing but sunny skied for us! We even had to go on the water ride in California Adventure to cool off on Sunday!

Tower of Terror was awesome, and Jessica found these HUGE chocolate covered strawberries that she said were just delicious. We took some amazing pictures and had a lot of good laughs. Jessica and I also lost our voices do to the amount of screaming we did.

This was another perfect trip for the Williams Gals, and I can't wait to do it again!!!

Not Happy. - Revisited

So...I got an email from my boss to come back to his office. I go.

He asks me who is taking care of all of Stephanie's reports, since she is out sick. I tell him that I thought the sales manager took care of that and sent the reports and auto-searches to the respective Account Executives. He said that he wasn't sure, and that I was to find out. He also wanted me to send an email to the department and figure out who was doing what.

Am I mistaken, or is that part of his job? I think so. So I have been stressing for the last hour or so, trying to figure out what is going on, when that is something that he should have been doing! That made me fall behind on my work, and make me just slightly bitter.

And I know that I've said before...I wouldn't mind doing these things at all if it was worth my while. But we're not treated well here, and we certainly don't make enough money.

I am really not happy right now. I almost feel like crying. Today, someone in my department called in sick - and she's basically the manager without the title. I had to cram in doing some other reports and things, but I'm doing okay. I was going to leave early (since I have to be up in 8 hours - midnight - to drive to LA), but now that's not looking possible.

Someone else who was helping our department also called in sick, so her report is being done by the Account Executive. That AE, however, doesn't know how to upload the hits into the ShowRoom. So that means that I have to stay until he is finished, so that I can upload it for him.

I am getting no support from management, and I just want to crawl under a rock.

Okay...back to feeling awful.

Done with work. Finally. Thought I would be done early, but it just wasn't in the cards. I guess I'm a little early...by about 14 minutes. So now I am going to go and catch the 3:38pm BART train, get my truck, go run some errands, and get my ass home to play some Counter-Strike!

Oooh...and I have to go pick up my new Dell 19 inch flat panel monitor that I got for super cheap. Yay for today!

I am sooooo excited! We're not actually going to the big DL tomorrow, but me, Jess, and Sary are leaving mom's house in Brentwood on Saturday at 1am! That way we can get there for some early admission fun! I can't wait!

Charging up the Digital Elph, getting together CompactFlash cards, and psyching myself up for all the rides! Woo hoo!

I also can't wait to FINALLY give Jessica all of her b-day presents! Yay!

Today at work 2 things happened:

This morning, I helped out a client (from a very large company) with something she needed that had nothing to do with my department. The people who could have helped this lady out, didn't really care and kinda left it in my hands. I was able to solve her problem, using my own resources - not the company's. She send me a very nice thank you email, and I was so proud of myself.

Then...after lunch today...I come back to find out that another client (an even bigger company) wants their reports re-done retroactively. Crap! Now I have to put in over-time and miss the movie that I was going to see tonight. Normally I wouldn't mind, but since I make a very low hourly wage with no benefits, bonuses or commissions - it's kinda hard to do things to help out the people making the big bucks!

Whatever. I'm over it. Back to work. Blah.

Um...don't you just love it when boys that you used to date think that you want them back when that totally isn't the case? I personally think it's annoying, yet hilarious at the same time. Boys say things that they know you'll read (like in a blog, for instance), and they leave little hints and clues that just confirm it's about you!

But it just proves that a boy is an idiot when you can't get him to realize that you just really don't like him anymore, or want him back at all! And it's plain pathetic when he thinks that he is the best thing that ever happened to you, or that you are secretly dreaming of him.

Vacations...

I love vacationing. I never go for very long, but just a weekend here and there to go out of town is fun. Especially at this time of the year. It's almost nice weather and I have Cabin Fever like no other! I just wanna go out and play!

I went to Colorado 2 weeks ago, Vegas this past weekend, I'm going to Disneyland this weekend, Vegas again on April 1st and the week after, and then to Indianapolis for SWC3 on April 20-24. Holy crud I'm crazy!

So excited. My GM Card is going to be racking up the points. Hehehe...

The 77th Annual Academy Awards

The Oscars last night were wonderful! Chris Rock did an amazing job of hosting the awards - he was funny, but not too mean.

My favorite film of the year, Million Dollar Baby, won best picture! It also won for Best Actress (Hilary Swank) and Best Supporting Actor (Morgan Freeman) and Best Director (Clint Eastwood). I was so happy that I started crying!!!

I think I am going to go and see that movie agan later this week.
